How can I edit referral letter?

Fast Notes referral letters are created from the narrative. If you want to make text changes to the narrative, click here to view how make a change. When a text change is performed, simply create the Referral Letter again and the new file will replace the previous Referral Letter.

If you don't need to make text changes, but want to include more or less detail in the Referral Letter, open the patient file, then Preview and Finalize. You will be prompted to create a new Referral Letter. Create this new letter and finalizing this will overwrite the previous letter created.

Finally, if you have a special closing that you want to include (e.g. "Have a great summer!"), select the 'Closing' at the bottom of the Referral Letter and add a new option.
