You may import notes and letters into your practice management software with a few simple steps.
Select the dropdown arrow for the file you wish to download.
Click on Download PDF or Download TXT.
Downloaded files reside on your office computer—typically the ‘My Downloads’ folder.
Inserted the PDF into a patient chart is performed by "attaching" the document to the patient folder. Every sustem is different but the process is the same:
Open the patient chart and locate the “file system” (i.e.: SmartDoc, Document Center, patient folder).
Select Import under the File menu, and then select the downloaded PDF file on your computer.
Inserting the actual text is simple. Open the TXT file downloaded from Vault. Copy the text and then paste into the notes section of the patient record.
